Smart home produkter fra tyske Eve modtager Home Assistant certificering
Firmaet Eve, bedst kendt for sine HomeKit-kompatible produkter, modtager Works With Home Assistant certificering. Det betyder blandt andet fremtidssikring og garanti for fuld understøttelse af funktioner. Det er dog ikke alle Eves produkter, som modtager certificeringen.

Eve er et smart home firma som oftest forbindes med HomeKit. I starten fokuserede firmaet nemlig udelukkende på Apples Home-app, og understøttede derfor kun iOS.
Siden har det tyske smart home firma lanceret en række Matter kompatible produkter, såsom deres Eve Room luftkvalitetssensor og Eve Thermo radiatortermostat. Matter har betydet, at deres produkter siden er revet sig løs fra HomeKit og nu kan tilføjes til alle Matter kompatible smart home systemer.
Nu tager Eve skridtet videre, ved at annoncere Works With Home Assistant certifikat for en række af deres produkter. Certifikatet betyder blandt andet, at deres produkter er testet af Home Assistant, så alle funktionaliteter kan garanteres.
Selvom Matter i forvejen garanterer lokal kontrol med Eves produkter, så certifikatet en garanti for at alle funktionaliteter korrekt eksponeres i Home Assistant. Det signalerer også, at Eve tager Home Assistant seriøst, og tillægger det samme betydning som SmartThings, Homey og andre mere forbrugerorienteret smart home løsninger.
Hvilke produkter bliver certificeret?
Home Assistant fremhæver en liste over de produkter, som indtil videre har fået certificeringen. De er alle testet på en Home Assistant Green med en Connect ZBT-1 stick. Alle produkterne er Thread-baseret.
